HISTORY
OF OUR ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH CENTER
The first existing building of our Mersin Silifke Oral and Dental Health
Center, the Oral and Dental Health Clinic, within the body of Silifke State
Hospital, provided polyclinic service consisting of 9 units.
In order to meet the increasing Dentistry service demand in parallel with
the changing population in Silifke district of Mersin Province due to its
location, which is rapidly growing, receiving intense immigration and providing
intensive services to other districts around it, with the Ministry's approval
dated 09/09/2020 and numbered E.1730, Mersin Silifke with 20 Units It was
decided to open it as an Oral and Dental Health Center. Medical equipment and
consumables were procured by the Oral and Dental Health Center and 18 units
were established. It started to serve with 9 permanent dentists in December
2020. In February 2021, 4 more dentists were assigned to the Oral and Dental
Health Center and started to serve with 13 dentists.
The present building of our Oral and Dental Health Center has been put into
service as Mersin Silifke Oral and Dental Health Center (Group C) as of
04/12/2020 in Göksu Mahallesi, 18 units of 20 unit capacity are in use.
PHYSICAL STRUCTURE: Mersin Silifke Oral and Dental Health Center is a
health institution providing Outpatient Oral and Dental Treatment Services on a
total area of 11527 m2 and its closed area is 2455 m2. Service Buildings are
in reinforced concrete style.
